Title: Generation of XGA Signal 1024 x 768 at 60 Hz using STM32L476vgt-Disco.
XGA (Extended Graphics Array) is a high-resolution video display mode that provides screen pixel resolution of 1024 by 768 in 256 colours.
XGA signal timing is taken from http://tinyvga.com/vga-timing/1024×768@60Hz
Output
XGA and similar VGA signal are typically produced using FPGA. But using the microcontroller we can also generate the signal. It is not as good as the FPGA. But it can be used in the low-cost application for displaying information.
This project code is written in C language.
HARDWARE:
- STM32L476vgt6-DISCO x 1
- 330 ohm resistor x 3
